The quartet was popular, singing at many social events in the surrounding areas. He married 24 January 1895 to Phoebe Augusta DIEFENBAUGH. Arthur and his family lived at the corner of Maple and McKinley Streets in Brookville, Ohio. He was a barber by trade and had his own barber shop in Brookville until his barber shop and other businesses were destroyed by fire. He then moved to West Alexandria where he again established another barber shop. Every Sunday morning for a number of years, he visited his brother, Edward, on the farm. Arthur died 30 December 1942 in West Alexandria, Preble County, Ohio. Phoebe was born 2 September 1876; died 15 May 1946.
