Catherine attended daughter's (Jennie) funeral, who died 6 days later (CREAGER, Irene, Creager History), 1985) Catherine died 24 February 1999 Darke County, Ohio. CHARLES EDWARD7 CREAGER, son of William Otterbein6 CREAGER (William H.5, Peter I4, Adam3, Johann Casper2 Creager/Krieger, Hans Ernst1 Krieger) and Sarah Isabelle "Belle" BASORE, was born 28 April 1873 near Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio. He married (1) Elizabeth J. "Lizzie" FLEENOR, born 1873 OH, died 26 Oct 1924 Muskogee, Muskogee Co., OK; married (2) Elizabeth [--?--], born 4 Mar 1897 KS, died 19 Jan 1970. In politics he was a Republican, U. S. Representative from Oklahoma's 3rd District in 1909-11. He died of emphysema on 11 Jan 1964 in Mukogee, Muskogee County, OK. His interment was at the Greenhill Cemetery, Muskogee, Muskogee County, OK. Only known son was Baron G.8 Creager.

CHRISTIAN HENRY 5 CREAGER, s/o Peter4 CREAGER I (Adam3 Creager, Johann Casper2 Krieger/Creager, Hans Ernst1 Krieger) and his 2nd wife, Elizabeth Rike, was born 16 August 1821 Montgomery County, Ohio; married 23 December 1841 Montgomery County, Ohio to (1) Susannah OBENCHAIN (b 1822 - d 12 November 1862 at 40y 13d); married 15 February 1863 Preble County, Ohio to (2) Elizabeth (BANFILL) METTERT, possibly a widow; owned the C. H. Creager Mill; was a very prominent businessman and citizen in Whitley County, IN [JB-D]; died 20 May 1906 Thorncreek Twp., Whitley, Whitley County, Indiana, and buried at the New Cleveland Cemetery, South Whitley, Whitley County, Indiana. Elizabeth was born 1831; died 1895; and buried at the New Cleveland Cemetery, South Whitley, Whitley County, Indiana. Elizabeth is believed to have been the dau/o John Banfill and Anna Maria "Hannah" Price. Elizabeth married 1849 Preble Co., OH to (1) David C. METTERT. Her sister, Julia Ann, married Christian's brother, John Reuben Creager. Children of Christian and Susannah: Samuel, Catherine, Mary Ann, Wm. R., Lydia M., Martha E., John H., & Malvina Creager. Children of Christian and Susannah: Joseph E., Oscar Banfill, Laura Arminta, and Melissa A. Creager.

She married her sister Urhina's widower, John Louis PRUGH (b 1829), who predeceased her. Cora was buried 16 July 1936 at the Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio in Section 102, Lot 2975.

CYRUS H.6 CREAGER was the son of Henry5 CREAGER (Christian4, Adam3 Creager, Johann Casper2 Krieger/Creager, Hans Ernst1Krieger) & Elizabeth PRUGH. He was a Civil War veteran, who never married. He was a farmer, who resided at R. R. #7 in Van Buren Township, Montgomery County, Ohio at time of death on 12 August 1918 from a cerebral hemorrhage at 75 years 2 months 2 days. He was buried at David's Cemetery on 15 August 1918. Roy Creager, nephew of Cyrus, provided information given in his death record.
