Mary married 08 April 1868 Darke County, Ohio to JOHN L. GREGG. John L. GREGG, son of William GREGG & Tabitha LESLIE, was born born 27 Mar 1839 Butler County, Ohio. They settled in Milford, Kosciusko County, Indiana where they remained all their lives. Mary Magdalena was maternal g-gm of Karen Anderson (her mother's paternal grandparents); and that on her maternal grandparent's side, William SMITH married Caroline RAPP, sister of Elizabeth RAPP, wf/o James Monroe CREAGER.

Myrtle CREAGER (1882-1946) was dau/o George W. CREAGER & Jennie M. DETAMORE.
Mattie CREAGER was dau/o James Monroe CREAGER [bro/o Mary Magdalene (Creager) Gregg) & Elizabeth RAPP.]
Mattie's obituary says she is survived by an aunt Maggie CREAGER of Ft. Wayne, Allen Co., IN, who was Margaret "Maggie" (RAPP) CREAGER, wf/o Lewis CREAGER who was bro/o James Monroe CREAGER.

Margaret "Maggie" RAPP (recorded as "Martha Rapp") married 3 Dec 1874 to Marion ANGEL in Kosciusko Co., Indiana. (On-line Marriage Records) They had a son, John A. Angel. At the time of the 1880 Federal Census they were recorded with the surname of "ANGLE" in the city of Warsaw, Indiana. The marriage to Marion ended either by divorce or death of Marion. [Undetermined information])

On 15 Aug 1885, Maggie (Rapp) Angel married Lewis Creager in Darke Co. OH and they settled in Paulding County, Ohio. (Mary Magdalena, James, and George W. had a brother, Lewis, believed at this time to have been the person who married Maggie (Rapp) Angel. [Unproven]

Lewis Creager died on 21 Aug 1929. Maggie then moved to Ft. Wayne, Allen County, Indiana to be near her son and family. (Proven: Census Records) In 1900 and 1910, John A. Angel and family were in Paulding Co., OH. By 1920 they were in Ft. Wayne, Allen Co., IN. John and his wife (Alma Ludwig) had sons Frank, Harry, John, and Charley all of whom, along with wives, were in the same household with John and Alma in 1920.

William & Jessie had six children.
