Known History and Descendancy of Jacob CREGER Sr.
JACOB CREGER, Sr. from Virginia to Ohio was born ca 1763; died 6 Mar 1845. He married Scharlot CREGER who was born ca 1764; died 1 January 1846. Records indicate Jacob CREGER, Sr. and his children were born in Virginia, but there are some indications that this may have been in present day area of Garret Co., MD or Hampshire Co., WV. Both are buried in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, near Dennison, Tuscarawas County, Ohio.

Jacob went by the CREAGER spelling of the surname.
