WHERE IS IT?
The Kraichgau is a region between Stuttgart and Heidelberg just west of
Heilbronn. The two important locations for those of us who descend from Johann Casper KRIEGER & his wife, Ann Christina HOFFARTH/HOFFERT, the immigrants to America, are: Schwaigern, Germany where the HOFFARTHs/HOFFERTs lived, and Kleingartach, Germany where the KRIEGERs lived.

Lowest region of the Palatinate (yellow gold) near border of Wurtemberg.
Kleingartach & Gross Gartach in is roughly 3 miles SE of Eppingen.
