MARY JANE DUNHAM was the youngest of the four known children of James Dunham, Jr. and Margaret Elizabeth Slonaker. She was born 24 October 1864 probably in Darke County, Ohio and apparently after the death of her father at the Andersonville, Georgia Prison of War Post. James had been taken captive during the Civil War. In one of his letters home he writes of his wife being sick, so it appears that she possibly was experiencing morning sickness.
On 30 November 1882, Mary Jane married Gideon Winfield CREAGER, s/o John Carl (sometimes given as John Christian) Creager and Sarah "Sally" Ann Prugh of Montgomery County, Ohio. They were probably married in Darke County, Ohio.

Mary Jane (Dunham) Creager
Gideon was born 6 June 1859 in Montgomery County, Ohio. They were the parents of eleven known children. Gideon died 19 August 1940 and Mary Jane followed her husband on 6 March 1942. Both are buried in the East Zion Church Cemetery, Greenville Township, Darke County, Ohio.

Can anyone identify the other children in this family photo? Two of the children are said to be a Helen and a Hazel, but I do not know whether they are the two little girls or the two older unknown girls.
