EDWARD "Ed" J. ENYART, s/o John Benton Weller ENYART and Margaret Jane "Maggie" HUGHES, was born 1868 in Ohio; married 01 January 1893 Shelby County, Ohio to Mildred LINDSEY; and died in 1953. His photo along with others appears in Unknown ENYARTs in Photos.



EDWARD M. ENYART, son of Robert Franklin ENYART and Martha Jane ROBERTSON, was born October 1864 in Ohio. He was the husband of Ida Alice YORK, dau/o Henry Lee YORK and Hulda A. PYLES. In the 1900 Census (indexed as Engard) 35y old Edward M. and 19y old Ida A. lived in Lawrenceburg Township of Dearborn County, Indiana where he worked as a wheelwright in a carriage factory. Edward and Ida married l899-1900 as they were married less than 1 year in 1900. Residing with them in 1900 & 1910 was Edward's widowed father, Robert F. Enyart (b "Sep 1827 OH"), listed as 72y (1900) and then 82y (1910) respectively.

By 1910 they had moved to Connersville, Connersville Township, Fayette Co., IN and were married 10 years. He was still working as a laborer in a carriage factory and she was listed as having no children.

Here in Connersville, they were living at the time of the 1920 Census (indexed as Engert). Edward (58y) was working as a bakery wholesale dealer; Ida was working as a grocery proprietoress. They had lodgers in the home: 24y old Norma Cox, b IN (factory helper); 18y old Sarah Whiteside, b IN (factory helper).

They continued to live in Connersville at the time of the 1930 Census. Edward was now 68 years and work as an oil company truck driver. Ida is listed as his 49y old wife...no occupation given. They had been married 30 years.

ELIZABETH ENYEART, daughter of Thomas ENYEART & Mary Wilson GLASGOW, was born 26 October 1841 James Creek, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania; married 02 April 1863 James Creek, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania to Jacob SUMMERS (1822-1894). She died 27 March 1921 Marklesburg, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania and was buried at the Union Cemetery (perhaps aka Methodist Church Cemetery) of Marklesburg, Pennsylvania. This cemetery is located down the road from the Zions Reformed Church of Marklesburg.

EZRA ENYART, son of Jacob Lewis ENYART and Catherine TEETERS, was born 27 December 1843 in Mill Creek Twp., Hamilton County, and died there on 29 December 1843. He was first buried at the Friend's Graveyard and on 20 November 1852 reinterred at the Springgrove Cemetery, Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio.
