MEETING OF ENYEART HEIRS


Minutes of Meeting held in Wabash, Indiana on April 19, 1913:

The western branches of the Enyeart families and representatives met in Memorial Hall in this city today, to discuss plans relative to establishing their interests in certain claims of real estate, in New York City, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, which it is claimed have been leased about ninety nine years.

Thomas M. Enyeart of Cambridge City, Ind. was elected temporary pres, B. F. Barnett of Logansport, Ind. temporary sec.

Mrs. J. H. Racer of Troy, Ohio gave in lengthy detail the genealogy, history and a general out-line pertaining to the properties, and the heirs interests as they may here-after appear.

Also to affect a permanent organization to co-operate with an eastern one known as the Wm. Enyeart Heirs Co. (Inc.) # 26 Evergreen St. Harrisburg, Pa. On motion the meeting adjourned at one o'clock.

After-noon session ---- A motion was made by M. L. Johnston of Lagrange, Ind, that Mrs. J. H. Racer of Troy be elected permanent sec of the western board of the Wm. Enyeart Heirs Co. (Inc) Carried.

On motion by B. F. Barnett --- Thomas M. Enyeart was elected permanent vice pres. to act in conjunction with Mr. A. C. Corbin of H'ntgn, Pa. (R. R. 1) pres of Eastern Co.

Moved by Lon Eastley H'ntgn, In. that Benj. F. Enyeart of Wabash be elected treas. of the western Board of Heirs. (Carried).

Moved and carried that B. F. Barnett be elected assistant sec of the Co.

Motion made and carried that the treas, make a good and sufficient bond for all money that may come into his trust, bond to be approved by board.

Motion made and carried that the executive board shall consist of the officers elected at this meeting and the following named persons --- M. L. Johnston - Lagrange, Ind., C. F. Enyeart - Wabash, Ind., S. G. Lucas - Bement, Ill.

On a motion made and carried, a soliciting Com, for the sale of stock and raising money to employ a Genealogist was formed, also to pay for all litigation in establishing rights of Co. consisting of --- Harry Holden - Lagrange, Ind., Benj. F. Enyeart - Wabash, Ind., Lou Eastey - H'ntgn, Ind., Noah Cunningham - Peru, Ind., Alison Peck - Chicago, Ill. c/o Standard Club.

The following parties subscribed and paid for stock in Co. Mary J. Enyeart - H'ntgn, Ind. (1) Benj. Enyeart (1) Lou Eastey - H'ntgn (1) Elias J. Enyeart - Peru, Ind. (1) Mrs. M. J. Smythers - Wabash (1) F. W. Lucas - Peru (1) Marion Enyeart - Warren, Ind. (1) S. C. Lucas - Bement, Ill. (1)

Meeting adjourned subject to call of vice pres.

The William Enyeart Heirs Company will hold a meeting Saturday, May 25, 1918, at 1:30 p.m. in the Community building, Huntingdon, Pa. All heirs are requested to be present, as important business will be transacted.
