J.A.R.M. says, "That would match the 1784 census for Hillsborough, NJ which gave no acreage for Joseph, but a good amount for Peter."

Appeal on Trespass on the Case

ELIZABETH FORRESTER LABOYTEAUX, dau/o William Harvell LABOYTEAUX and (1) Mary STEWART, was born 15 October 1898 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1921, Elizabeth made plans to travel abroad on board the S. S. Aquitania with the intention of visiting Holland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and returning to U.S. She was 5 ft. 8 in. tall with fair complexion, blue eyes, and red hair at 22 year old when she applied for a passport. In 1921 she was residing with her father at 320 Park Avenue, New York City, NY.

On 25 February 1922, Elizabeth married at the Church of the Heavenly Rest in New York City to Capt. Edward Sanford PEGRAM, Jr., s/o Edward S. PEGRAM (b February 1862 New York City, NY-d aft. 1920--Banker of J. P. Morgan & Co.) and Emma/Anna BROECHER (b Apr 1870 NY-d aft. 1920). Edward was born 11 Aug 1892 in Montclair, New Jersey (WW I Light Cavalry; WW II Draft Registration Card). Edward and Elizabeth were the parents of Elizabeth S. PEGRAM (b 1924) and Edward S. PEGRAM (b 1929). It appears that Edward and Elizabeth divorced, as by April 1942 Edward appears to have been married to an Eleanor [--?--] according to his WW II Draft Registration. Elizabeth later married a (2) E. Robert DURAND. (Source: A. W. Hill)
