SAMUEL LABOYTEAUX, s/o Peter P. LABOYTEAUX and Elizabeth PACKER, was born 10 Jul 1805; died 28 Jul 28, 1893. Samuel married Maria Louisa WRIGHT; and died 11 January 1887. Maria Louisa was born 8 Feb 1813 and died 28 Jul 1893. She is buried at Spring Grove Cemetery, Hamilton Co., Ohio. Engraved at the top of his gravestone is the word: "FATHER", and "MOTHER" is engraved atop her gravestone.

Sarah is believed to have been the wife of William Laboyteaux b 1810 and died 1862 Pasquotank County, North Carolina.

Stephen A. LA BOYTEAUX, s/o Peter P. LABOYTEAUX & Anna BATSON, was born 7 December 1840 Henry County, Indiana; married 1 Nov 1866 in Henry County, Indiana to Odessa EVANS. (Henry Co., IN Marriage Record: Book: CC-3, Page: 453) wrote a letter in 1910 while residing in Roann, Wabash County, Indiana which was addressed to Mrs. Sallie Kutz of New Castle, Henry County, Indiana. The letter was to be given to Mrs. Mary (Sherry) Kutz, wife of Isaac Kutz. It tells of Stephen's Civil War participation and of the momento or relic that he carried in a pocket from Mrs. Mary Kutz. Richard Rhinehart wishes to learn more about Stephen and the KUTZ family connection.
