A memory by someone who knew him: "Randy Bellerjeau was a much-loved music teacher in the Plainfield, NJ school system. As I recall, he died of brain cancer. I recall that he grew a beard, probably spring of 1959, and explained to the audience at our spring concert that he wasn't shaving until his wife gave birth. He was also one of my instructors at summer band school that year. I'm not sure what the adults felt, but a wave of sadness swept through grade school when he died." "Rev. Thomas BROWN is a descendant of John BROWN and Mary BURWELL, who were the founding group of Newark. According to the typescript written in the last century by Edmund F. BROWN and now on deposit at the NJHS, 'Rev. Thomas Brown was the grandson of Thomas Brown, the third son of John Brown, Sr.' This was through the older Thomas Brown's son, David. This Thomas may be too early (1720-1782), but he had a son, Thomas, also a minister, 1745-1831, and he had a son, Thomas Bruen Brown." The manuscript indicated that they were connected with the Scotch Plains Church. (9)
    Rev. Thomas BROWN (b abt 1745-d 1831 PA) > Thomas BROWN (1720-1782) > David (no dates) > Thomas BROWN (b ? - d abt. 1711) > John BROWN (9)
