    There are two David Piersons:

    1. David Pierson was the son of Daniel Pierson and Elizabeth Allen. This is the one that is buried in the Scotch Plains cemetery, being born about 1748, based on his age at death, and died April 9, 1790 in his 52nd year. He married Esther (based on her tombstone). She was probably Esther Bailey.

    2. Another David Pierson was the son of Henry Pierson and Eunice Meeker. He was born 10 Feb 1735/36 and died 30 Mar 1819 Westfield, Union Co., NJ. He was married to Sarah Wills. It is not known where is buried.
