ETHEL ESTELLA SHIELDS was the second child and eldest daughter of Caleb Shields and Hannah E. Myers. She was born 04 October 1886 probably in Darke County, Ohio. She married 04 October 1906 probably in Darke County, Ohio to Cecil B. CROMWELL. Ethel died in 1934. Cecil was born 18 December 1883 and died 10 September 1934. To this couple were born two known children: Glen Dale and Ruby Cromwell. Ethel and Cecil are buried at Abbottsville Cemetery in Darke County, Ohio.



Children of Cecil & Ethel:
  1. Glen Dale Cromwell b 1907/1908 & died 11 April 1908.
  2. Ruby Cromwell b 26 October 1909 probably Darke Co., OH; married 1 April 1934 to Alfred "Fred" G. Miltenberger. They resided on a farm. Alfred died 04 July 1987 in Darke County, Ohio. Ruby died October 1989. Both are buried at Abbottsville Cemetery, Darke County, Ohio.
