Mary was the daughter of Robert
Harvey Green and the sister of Thomas Finley and Dr
Robert Smith Greene.
The photo on the left was taken about 1886.
Dr Greene served as the Regimental Surgeon, Company C, Alabama 19th, CSA. The photo on the right was taken at the 1904 Company C reunion held in Elyton, Jefferson Co, AL. In his pocket is a copy of the History and Muster Role of Company C which he and 4 other officers prepared. Descendant John Greene has this copy, still creased down the middle.
