U. S. 116TH MOBILE VETERINARY SECTION WW1

Hi Greg
My father-in-law (Russell D. Jackson) served in Veterinary Mobile Section No. 116, during WWI. While sorting through some old family photos, we found a photo of the unit with the names of the soldiers on the back. The numbers on the back agree with the number on the right hand glove of the individuals in the picture.

The listing on the back of the 116th Mobile Section lists a Jessie Thomas. This is actually one of my relatives Jessie Thorn.

Here is a picture of his grave marker. He is buried in the Jonesboro City Cemetery in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Do you know how the names relate to the picture left to Right, front to back or back to front. ?

I have revisited the statement from Ted Markley about the number on the right hand glove... the number is on the soldier�s left hand, but right side when viewing the photo. Some are not legible, but some are and they form what I think is the correct relationship to the listing. I have attached a modified copy of the picture showing what I believe to be the correct identity for each soldier.
