NOTE: The Presidio of Monterey Garrison in closed to the public due to world security issues. You need a pass or be accompanied by someone authorized to enter the garrison who has permission to bring you. I have been on the garrison several times working on research and was told that not taking pictures is strictly enforced. Garrison Security keeps a watchful eye open for anyone attempting to take pictures. I was given permission to drive around in the historical area of the Presidio on one of my visit and it was very tempting not to take pictures of these wonderful historical structures which I had fallen in love with. The Lower Presidio where the museum is located, is open to the public and the taking of pictures. - Greg Krenzelok
