to my BRATTMILLER family webpages. The origins of this
particular family are unknown as of this time, but our earliest known progenator was born in
We
are also blessed with written version of an oral
history of the family, as received from one of our Brattmiller Cousins.
It was sent to her by Eula Brattmiller, the
wife of William Brattmiller. Unfortunately Eula
passed away earlier in 2006 before I could have a chance to visit with
her. 2006 was a tough one for the Brattmiller clan as we lost three Brattmillers.
As
time permits I’ll also be posting a number of photos of the older folks in this
family. If you have any family photos
you’d like to share, please let me know.
These will be linked at the appropriate places in the bodies of the pages.
On
July 12, 2005, we had the pleasure of traveling back to Iowa, and visited
Ayshire, Mallard and the family farm, currently occupied by Fred Willis and
Alice Brattmiller. One of the neat
things I learned is that the Brattmiller farm is one
