One More Is Called Away
Byron William Mast, Dies of Typhoid at the Roundup Hospital

Again we are called upon to mourn the sad loss of Byron William Mast, son of Henry Mast.
Byron was born September 29, 1896, and is departed this life Oct. 17. He leaves a father, two brothers and three sisters to mourn his loss, but goes to live with those who have just preceded him to the heavenly abode.
He was a kind effectionate and dutiful son, and it is only with bleeding hearts that we say, "thy will be done." But still we cling with unfaltering faith to Him who doeth all things well; because He has promised to stand by us in six trials, and in the seventh would not forsake us. At this hour we may think that we are forsaken, but let us look up and have faith, because He loves us still.
God has said in His words that though a mother may forget her nursing child, yet I shall not forget my people. We are not forgotten. We are not forsaken, but are being sorely tried. Whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth. May we bear it with grace in our hearts, and some day the sting will be removed. We weep not as those who have no hope. We shall meet again at God's right hand, and rejoice because of His goodness.
