A lot of the data to follow is from the Haddock Research files of Darla Marbut - Barry County and Haddock family genealogist.

Descendants of Zachariah & Chloe (Albritton) Haddock

Noel Curry is a Haddock descendant through his mother Arizona (Skelton) Curry (Mrs. Charley). She was the daughter of Jasper Newton and Julia Russell Skelton. Julia was the daughter of Milo and Nicey (Haddock) Russell.

Darla stated that Noel and his wife, Jean (Ball) Curry, ran the Eagle Rock Country Store next to the one my parents owned. Jean was the postmistress for many years. You could cross over the branch behind the stores on a walking bridge and get to their large clap board two storied home. To the side was a huge barn whose loft was made of walnut wood. In earlier years they took up the walnut wood and made coffins out of them and replaced them with oak boards. All of the stories, homes, barns, were destroyed when Table Rock Lake came in.
