Their children were born in KY and were listed as Birdie, was age 21; Nancy, age 18; Albert, age 16; Hobart, age 12; Litha, age 10; Clarence, age 5; Thomas, age 2; and also in the household was Edward Mills, age 19, born in KY with KY born parents and he married at age 19. His wife was given as Lucy, age 17, and she married at age 17, born in KY with KY born parents. One child was given - Opal, age 5/12, born in KY. | He was a retired construction foreman, a member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church, and a US Army World War II Veteran where he received the purple heart and bronze star decorations. | Funeral services were conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, September 5 at 1 p.m. with the Rev.
