DEATHS AT DROYLSDEN

The death occurred on March 1st of Mr Samuel Hadfield (84), who formerly resided in Bannerman Road. Prior to taking up residence there he was licensee of the Cotton Tree Inn, Droylsden (1917-1937). Latterly he had resided at Sunnyside.

The funeral was from the home of his daughter-in-law Mrs. Hadfield of 27 Annable Road. Committal was at Dukinfield Crematorium on Friday conducted by the Rev B.J.Lewis

Mourners: Mrs L.(Louise) Hadfield, Mr E.C.(Edwin Crossdale) Hadfield, Miss (Cynthia?) Hadfield.

Floral tributes: Family; staff and residents, Sunnyside.

Arrangements were by G. and E. Rayment, 355 Fairfield Road.
