      In The name of God amen the __d of april
      1744 I John Hankes of Littel Compton in the
      County of Glousester being very Sick and weak
      in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be
      given unto God therefore __ra__lng unto mind the mortality
      of my body and knowing it is apointed for all men
      omse ? to dye doe make and ordain this my Last will
      and testament that is to Say in the folloing manner
      and forme I give unto my Sister Woodward
      Son Willian
      five Shillings then I give to John
      Woodard
      five Shillings then I give to Thomas
      Woodard
      five Shillings then I give unto elizabeth
      prue
      five Shillings
      Then I give and Bequeth unto my loving wife
      Elizabeth hanks all my Goods Chattles mony and
      effects with all as I am posseded with during
      hur Life whom I ordain my Sole Exectutr__ __
      of this my Last will and testament
      and I give to Jane mansel five pound
          after his Deth

      Lord 1749 before the Worshipful Sir Henry Penrice Knight Doctor
      of Laws Vicar General in Spirituals of the Right Reverend Father
      in God Martin by Divine Permission Lord Bishop of the Diocese
      of Gloucester and of his Episcopal Consistory Official principal
      Lawfully Constituted by Elizabeth Hanks Relict and Sole Executrix
      and so forth to whom and so forth having first Sworn well and
      faithfully to Administer to the said Will and also to Exhibit an
      Inventory and Render an Account on Account and so forth
