Illegible stone. Nancy Diwan's late 1990s photos show that the stone for Mary J. WINTON was similar in shape to this one. I cannot, however, be certain that this Mary's, whose stone - wherever it it is in this cemetery - is inscribed In/ Memory of/ Mary J. Winton/born Jan. 13, 1836/died Aug. 31, 1850 [Inscription transcribed by Nancy Diwan] Both Mary J. WINTON & Eliza WINTIN are listed under the surname WINSTON in the Meigs County cemetery book published by the Meigs Co Historical Society in 1996.
