I need to take a moment to give credit and thank those who have assisted me in my endless research. For many, I have given credit on individual family pages, for those who have given individual pieces of information.

The late Bonnie Alderman, for her most interesting book, "Some Oregon Branches of the Young, Owens and Sherman Families", she wrote in 1982. She graciously distributed copies to all family members.

The late Rev. J. H. Crouse and family, for their extremely informative book, "History of the Crouse Family of Pennsylvania and Ohio", they wrote in 1932. This book was distributed to family members in the 1930's at the "Crouse Family Reunion". My understanding is that there is a copy of this book in the Library of Congress.

Loma Sloper-Taylor, for her gracious help with the initial information connecting Richard Sloper, 1630, and descendants to Henry Sloper, 1759, and his children. Loma is the author of the Sloper newsletter called "Sloper Snooper", which is published 4 times a year. Loma is a wealth of information on the Sloper family. For information on the newsletter, contact Loma at: SLOPERTAYLOR@Comcast.net

David Ball, for the inital information connecting Daniel Ball, 1720, and his children to Amos James Ball, 1811. David has a project he is currently working on, gathering data on all Ball Families of New England. David is much more knowledgeable than I am, on the Daniel Ball and extended family line. For more information on the Ball line, contact David at: ballproject@shaw.ca

David Casto, for his insight in connecting the Goucher line with George W Goucher. His research and assistance has been greatly appreciated. David can be reached at decasto8@yahoo.com

Bronwyn Smalley, I give a very large THANK YOU to. She has been a god sent for me. She lives in NSW, and has provided me with links to documents and information, that I would never have uncovered. Her research in Australia, New Zealand and Tasmania with the Young and Burton lines has abled me to extend my family line in areas I would never have been able to research.

Edith Bastin, of Hart Co., Kentucky, deserves alot of thanks! She has recorded and transcribed many of the cemeteries in Hart County Kentucky, including photos of tombstones, to preserve the rich history of the old south.

Barbara F Richards, who has researched the Hobson family for years, and kindly provided me with information and photos to fill in the gaps in my own research.

The research of Ed Williams, who has kindly provided me with so much information and sources on the Williams family line. His information has helped me fill in the blanks on both the Ball and Sloper lines.

The research of Scott Reed, for with out his help, I would not have been able to make to connection on the Kelly family. He also provided several photos of the Kelly family, to add to my collection.

And to the many others, and there are many, who have contributed, no matter how small, a big THANK YOU, for your help. Even little bits and pieces of information, can sometimes make a big difference, even tear down a brick wall. So, thank you all for your help!
