In the summer of 2005, F. Robert Henderson, the author of the website Hendersons In Tennessee, retired from active genealogical research.   He donated his extensive notes to the McClung Library in Knoxville, TN where they will be known as "The Henderson Family Collection" and eventually be made available to the public.   Although no longer actively working in genealogy, Bob has given permission to keep his website on-line. A second similar site, Hendersons In Kentucky, is planned, also as a surname and geographically specific site, but unfortunately, is only in the very early stages of development.
