All the other info
William Henderson was the informant for the death of his wife Marion Glen Aitken on 11 Nov 1908 in the Royal Infirmary, Glasgow, LKS, SCT, at which time her usual residence was given as 20 Wellbank Pl, Uddingston, Lanarkshire.6,15 William Henderson was ill cir. Dec 1925 injured in a colliery accident, 8 mths prior to his death. Around this date I couldn't spot any accident reports on the excellent site on Scottish Mining Villages.10The attached photo comes courtesy of Ian Aitken-Kemp, a connection to the family of William's dtr Agnes, which dtr I did not even know existed until Ian contacted me. (I'm hoping that there's a gun dog at his feet, rather some intruders being chased away, or possibly he doesn't like his photograph being taken?)
Here's hoping that more of the family, and more photos, will pop out of the woodwork over time.16

E. & O. E. Some/most parish records are rather hard to read and names, places hard to interpret, particularly if you are unfamiliar with an area. Corrections welcome
