BOWEN, born August 14, 1841 in Bulloch County, Georgia, died March 12, 1914 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Married ANNA GAY November 19, 1860 in Bulloch County, Georgia, daughter of JOHN GAY.  Born September 17, 1840 in Bulloch County, Georgia, died December 14, 1905 in Bulloch County, Georgia. Both are buried in Popular Springs Primitive Baptist Church, Bulloch County, Georgia.
