HENRY ELIJAH PARKER

1821 - 1896

Welcome to the Henry Elijah Parker home page. This is a collection of over 300 letters, genealogies, sermons, photos and other documents.  They tell the story of a remarkable and distinguished gentleman of 19th century New England.  Henry Elijah Parker was a graduate of Dartmouth College, Pastor of a New Hampshire church, Chaplain with the 2nd New Hampshire Volunteer Regiment in the Civil War, and Professor of Latin at Dartmouth.  I hope you will enjoy reading and viewing these materials.

The website has recently been updated with over 100 additional letters from the Civil War period.
