to all People to whome these preasants shall or may Come I William Hinshaw of
the County of Randolph and State of north Carolina being far advansed in
years and having under my consideration the unsertainty of human life do
make this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to
say, Imprimes, I order that my body be deasenly buried in a christain and
desant manner at the discreshon of my Executers here in after named and as to
my worldly Estate which the lord in mercy has been pleased to bestow upon me
I gave and bestow of the same in manner and form following and first I will
that all all my just Dabets which I owe to any manner of persons or persons
with my funeral Charges to be paid and discharged as soon as Convenienly
maybe after my disease by my Executers here in after named.
Item I give and Bequeath to my son Ezra Hinshaw one dollar and to his daughter Mary Hinshaw one Cow Item I gave and Bequeath to my son Thomas Hinshaw one dollar Item I gave and bequeath to my son William Hinshaw or his heirs one dollar Item I gave and bequeath to my daughter Sarah Hammond one dollar and the desk at her step mothers disease Item I bequeath to my beloved wife all my housel furniture and all my horses and Cows and sheep and hogs and one hundred dollars and the hundred acres of land that joins the river with the buildings and the improvements the land and improvements only to continue hir life time and then to become the property of my son Samuel Hinshaw and any thing that is not set down in this my last will and testament I do leave at the sole desposal of my loving wife to devide amongst hir Children as she sees fit &C Item I bequeath to my son Jese Hinshaw one hundred acres of land that I bought from Robert McLain Item I bequeath to my son George Hinshaw one hundred acres of land joining the above mentioned Item I bequeath to my son Benjamin Hinshaw fifty dollars Item I bequeath to my son Jacob Hinshaw [lined-through: "one hundred and sixty acres of land that I bought from george Julin", replaced with:] forty shillings Item I bequeat to my son Samuel Hinshaw two hundred acres of land where on I now live one hundred not to fall to him till his mothers deth as above mentioned Item I bequeath to my daughter Mary Hadly one hundred dollars Item I bequeath to my daughter Rebeca Hadley one hundred dolars I do hereby nomenate, Constitute and appoint my loveing wife Mary Hinshaw Executrix, and my Cousin Jacob Hinshaw Executor to this my last will and testament. in witness where as I have here unto set my hand and seal Dated the twenty forth day of the twelveth Month in the year of our lord one thousand Eight hundred and nine Signed sealed and acknowledged by the William Hinshaw the testator to be his last will William HinshawBenjamin Hinshaw Thomas Hinshaw Ann Hinshaw her mark
