To all people to whom it may concern these presents may come greeting.
Know that I Mary Hinshaw of the County of Randolph and State of North Carolina calling to mind the uncertainty of human life and the certainty of death being somewhat infirm of body and of a firm mind do make this as my last will and testament in the manner and form as follows Viz. First I will that my Body be decently interred and all the charges thereto appertaing be amply paid Second I will and bequeath to my beloved son Jacob Hinshaw Fifty dollars Third I will and bequeath to my beloved son Samuel Hinshaw all my stock of each kind fourth I will and bequeath all my household furniture (Except one Bed bedding & bedsteads known by the name of my bed being the Bed I generally lie upon) to my daughters Mary Hadley & Rebecca Hadley to be divided between they two Equal by valuation and the Bed above Excepted and described I will to the latter Rebecca Hadley and the Remainder of my Estate which is money I will amongst the Children below named to each an Equal part Jesse Hinshaw George Hinshaw Benjamin Hinshaw Jacob Hinshaw Mary Hadley Rebecca Hadley as a full confirmation of which I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this thirteenth day of the Eleventh month in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nineteen in the presents of Joshua Hadley my chosen executor |
