in the County of Randolph and State of North Carolina
and
Phebe Alan
Daughter of
John and Rachel Alan
of the County of Orange and State aforesaid
Having Declared
their intentions of Marriage with each other, before a monthly meeting
of Friends held at Cane Creek in the
County of orange and state aforesaid and after due enquiry nothing
appearing to hinder
were allowed by said meeting to proceed. - - -
Now these are to Certify whom it may concern that for the full
accomplishment of their said intentions this
Eighth day of the Eleventh month in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and ten they the said
Jacob Hinshaw
and
Phebe Alan
appeared at a public meeting of friends at cane Creek meeting house
in the County of orange and State aforesaid
and the said
Jacob Hinshaw

Phebe Alan

they took each other for husband and wife
