of the County of Radolph & state of North Carolina,
Abigile Hinshaw
Daughter
Benjamin & Elizabeth Hinshaw
of the County Chatham & state above sd,
haveing declared their
intention of Marriage with Each other at a monthly meeting
of friends held at Cane Creek
in Orange County & state aforesaid,,
and after due Enquirey nothing appeareing to hinder
moved by sd meeting to proceed - - -
Now these are to Certify whome it may Concern
that for the full
accomplishment of their sd Intention this
10th day of the
12th month 1817,

appeared at a publick Meeting of friends
at Rocky River Meeting House in the County of Chatham,
and they the sd

did in a publick maner openly Declare that
they took Each other for Husband and Wife,
and as a further Confirmation thereof they the sd

did to these presents set their hands
