Affirming that "Jane Henshaw late of the Town of Stonefort in the County
of Williamson and State aforesaid, departed this life at
Stonefort" on August 17, 1904.
Witnessed by "Nettie Burns formerly Nettie Merideth"
and "Geo. B. White".
I Jane Henshaw of the county of Williamson and state of Illinois,
being of sound mind and memory, do make, ordain and
establish this to be my last Will and Testament hereby revoking
all other wills by me heretofore executed.
First - I give and bequeath to my son William H. Henshaw one featherbed, one bed stead, one dining table, two quilts and three chairs ; To my daughter Mary Ann Keel one stand table, one trunk, two quilts, one kitchen safe, one rocking chair, one feather bed, one clock; To Eliza Jane Parsons, my daughter, one bureau, two quilts, two chairs, one bedstead, one crayon portrait of my husband Hugh Henshaw deceased. To each of the children of my son Anderson Corder Henshaw, deceased The sum of one dollar, to each of the children of James Milo Henshaw deceased the sum of one dollar; Which said several legacies or sums of money I direct and order to be paid to the said respective legatees within one year after my decease. Second - I give and devise to my son William H. Henshaw and to my two daughters Mary Ann Keel and Eliza Jane Parsons the real estate on which I now live and described as follows: to wit: Lots Three (3) and four (4) in Block # Three (3) in J.V. Trammel's Addition to the village of Bolton Ill. which said real estate above described is to be owned by them the said William H. Henshaw and Mary Ann Keel and Eliza Jane Parsons in equal parts between them share and share alike. Third - I give and devise all the rest, residue and remainder of my real estate of every name and nature whatsoever to my son William H. Henshaw and my daughters aforesaid, Mary Ann Keel and Eliza Jane Parsons to be divided equally between them share and share alike. Fourth - I hereby bequeath all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate to my said son William H. Henshaw and Mary Ann Keel and Eliza Jane Parsons, my two daughters real, personal and mixed of whatsoever kind or nature or wheresoever situated whether owned by me now or acquired by me hereafter to be divided equally between them share and share alike. I hereby appoint Eaf Pulley sole executor of this my last Will and testament.
In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand
and affixed my seal this 18th day of November
A.D. 1899.
The above instrument consisting of two sheets was at
the date thereof signed, sealed, published and declared
by the said Jane Henshaw as and for her last will and
testament in presence of us, who at her request and in
her presence and in the presence of each other have
subscribed our names thereto, believing the said
Jane Henshaw to be at the time of so subscribing our names
as witnesses aforesaid, of sound mind and memory.
