I Rebecca Hinshaw
of the County of Randolph and State of North Carolina
being of sound mind and memory
but considering the uncertainty of my Earthly existance
do make and publish this
my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say -
first that executor (hereinafter named) shall provide for my body a decent burial suitable to the wishes of my relations and friends and pay all funeral expenses together with my just debts howsomever and to whomsoever oweing out of the moneys that may first come into his hands as a part or parcel of my estate I give and devise to my oldest daughter Sarah one Dallar I give and devise to my daughter Deborah one Dallar I give and devise to my Son Stephen one Dallar I give and devise to my Daughter Hannah one Dallar; all the above named now residing in the State of Indiana (if living) I give and devise to my Daughter Martha with whom I now live, all my personal property of every description both in doors and out to be disposed of at hir discretion. and lastly I do hereby Constitut and appoint my trusty friend William Clark my lawful Executor to all intents and purposes to execute this my last will and testament according to the true intent and meaning of the same and every part and clause thereof hereby revoking and declaring utterly void all other wills and testaments by me heretofore made. In witness whereof I the said Rebecca Hinshaw do hereunto set my hand and seal this the 18 Oct 1846 Joshua Hadley my chosen executorsigned sealed published and declared by the said Rebeca Hinshaw to be hir last will and testament in the presence of we who at hir request and in hir presence do subscribe our names as witness there to James [-unclear-]
