6th of the 12th Mo 1870I Rebecca Hinshaw of the County of Randolph and State of North Carolina Being of sound mind & memory blessed be the Lord for the same but calling to mind that it appointed for all once to die Do make this my last will and testament which is as follows 1st My body to be decently buried 2nd All my just debts & funeral charges to be paid 3rd I give to Malinda Reynolds my largest brown silk shawl & Jane C Chamness two of my calico dresses & my cloth cloak to Lucetta Walker & the ballance of my wearing appearal equally divided between Lucetta Walker & Malinda Reynolds & my stock of cattle hogs & sheep & my land & all other property to be sold at public sale & my cash & cash notes & bonds to be collected. it is my will that my brother William Hinshaw have two dollars for his heirs & Thomas Hinshaw two dollars for his heirs & my sister Ruth Beason (wife of Abner Beason) for her heirs two dollars & my sister Hannah Mcmasters for her heirs two dollars & my sister Sarah Walker two dollars & my sister Dinah Mcmasters for her heirs two dollars & to my neiphues James Hinshaw & Milton Hinshaw & Minus Hinshaw to each five dollars It is also my will that fifty dollars be applied to the keeping up Providence Grave yard & it is also my will that the remainder of my estate be put at interest for the keeping up the poor of Western quarterly meeting of Friends & to be divided one half to Centre monthly meeting & the other half to the other monthly meetings belonging to said quarterly meeting I leave as my executors Jesse D Hockett & David S Chamness Rebecca HinshawWe the undersigned are witnesses Anthony Chamness Miles Chamness L.
