Graniteville Cemetery
Graniteville, Nevada County
Graniteville is roughly 18 miles east and slightly north of Malakoff Diggins State Park. It is reached via the North Bloomfield - Graniteville Rd. The route is a gravel road. It appears the "locals" ignore the fact it is a dusty gravel route, and a "newby" may be a little intimidated and find the venture long and slow. The little community of Graniteville is just beyond the cemetery about a quarter of a mile and ever so charming.
Crosses mark the graves of unknown persons buried in this mountain cemetery.
