These entries were recorded in the standard notebook fashion; John son of John and Mary was baptized. Two columns; one recorded the birth and the other the baptismal date. However, there were notations at intervals stating the entries had been entered? I assumed that this meant the events were recorded in a main register and this appears to be the case. The baptisms were recorded in a typeset church register, however, more details were included; ABODE and OCCUPATION. Also, some of the birth dates were not included in these entries.

NOTE: In brackets under some of the entries [IGI recorded the . . . . . . . . ]. This notation has been made to indicate my finding were different than the IGI. In the mid 1700s, the New Year was not recognized until the middle of March, and not recorded in the church register until that time. This is not a big deal, however, in a couple of entries we then have children baptized before a couple married.
