While researching his GALLEY line, Dennis discovered his ancestor had married a HOCKLEY. Thomas Galley married Sarah Hockley on 9 April 1852 in Independent Meeting House, Bocking, Essex, England. Mr. Galley has traced his Hockley line back to a William and Ann Hockley who had a son Thomas born on 19 June 1772 in Braintree, Essex, England. Christened on 21 July 1772 in St. Michael The Archangel, Braintree, Essex. Thomas Hockley married Mehettable (surname unknown), about 1799. No marriage entry has been found for this couple.
