Welcome to the *HOHNEKE-CANNON WEBSITE where we will be endeavoring to share knowledge of our Family History. Many family cousins have been involved in producing the family history and continue to do so. HOHNEKE-CANNON refers to the union of those families by Bob HOHNEKE & Sue CANNON. We will be adding DESCENDANCIES of our various ancestors and updating our files here from time to time.
*HOHNEKE is pronounced: "Hah-neck-ee"-(accent on the "Hah")!

Our Surnames list will include: BECKWITH, BURTON, CANNON, CHANTRY, CHUTE, COLBY, DORMAN, DUKESHIRE (DUKESHERE, TUCHSCHERER), GREENO (GREENOUGH), HOHNEKE (HOHNKE, HONEKE), KNIGHT, KUNKEL (KUNKLE), LENSER (LENZER, LOENSER), MOSER, RAWDING (RODDY) (RHODDY), SELLE, WATSON, WEARE, WILE and many others.

Our locations where our families lived include: Canada (Nova Scotia primarily-our RAWDING family lived in Clementsport, Annapolis Co., N.S. from the late 1700's and some still live there today -see panorama picture above for a birdseye view from1908), England, Germany, The Colonies (New England) before 1776 and United States.

12 JUL 2007-We just found out that Bob and Sue have the same direct ancestor in Peregrine WHITE who was born on the Mayflower in 1620 when it was in the harbor in the New World! Peregrine WHITE's son Jonathan is Bob's Ancestor and his son Daniel is Sue's Ancestor! We are 9th cousins once removed in addition to being spouses! Truely, we are all related!
