NOTE #1:By clicking on the names of the cemeteries on the right side of the page you will find lists of names for each cemetery.  If you find a name you know, I should have the headstone photo.  I get email wondering why their relatives names aren't listed since they are buried in a particular cemetery.  Please keep in mind that the name list for each cemetery is mostly likely not a complete list of persons buried in that particular cemetery.  Some are large cemeteries and I am trying to make rounds to get photos from each cemetery.   
        NOTE #2:  I do each of the cemeteries in sections.  Because of this I regretfully don't take requests for names not on the lists.  I truly am sorry but the only way I can do this project efficiently and to get the most amount of names possible is to do it in this manner. 
        NOTE #3:  Is there a charge for a requested photo?  No, so do not feel obligated!  Are there expenses?  Of course, but all I will say is, if you feel you would like to send a contribution, it would be appreciated, but again is not necessary and is completely voluntary.
        NOTE #4:  Because I am trying to help others find their relatives, the names on the list are not always just a transcription of what is on the headstone.   I have been attempting a quick research to find middle and maiden names.  If you can help with additions, or corrections, please send them.

The project started out being just headstone photos, but then I got involved in adding obits.  If the name is highlighted in red, then that particular name is a link for added information in the form of an obit, photo, story or etc.

Send me your obits from Canyon County to get them posted!

If you have an item you would like to have posted for a relative that is buried in Canyon County, send the item or items to me.  There are over 1100 obits and miscellaneous items now added.  Included in these items is one section I call ORPHAN OBITS.  These are obits for people that are buried in Canyon County, but their name, as of yet, isn't mentioned as having a corresponding headstone photo.  Please remember to send the full birth and death dates about the person and what newspaper, and date of newspaper.      There are just a few scans of original obits.  Because of cost of doing it in this method, and because of the massive room they take on the website, I started taking digital photos of these obits right off the microfilm viewer screen.  The quality, at times, was  only barely good enough to read, so that is why I have tried to make the transcription look like the actual newspaper article.
