Friedrick Holtz and Emma Behrens Holtz
Friedrich Bernard Holtz was a son of Fritz and Fredericka Holtz, and brother of Frank, William, Marie, and Eunice Emma. He was born in 1891 in Irondequoit, Monroe County, NY. He worked on the family farm til sometime before 1920. Having been joined by his brother, Frank, in farming on the Upper Mountain Rd., Cambria, Niagara County, NY, he then married Emma E. Behrens. Within the next ten years, he moved to nearby Lockport, NY and started his own trucking business which he operated for many years.
Pictures were taken in 1944. Their son, Howard W. Holtz, age 18, is in military uniform. They also had two daughters and a second son.
