 ROMULUS SANDERS "PARSON"2 SWIFT  (SWIFT1) was born July 13, 1818 in Orange Co., N. C., and died April 29, 1889 in Scotts Hill, Henderson Co., TN.  He married SARAH SALINA PAINE January 21, 1840 in Giles County, TN.  She was born June 21, 1814 in North Carolina, and died February 09, 1906 in Scotts Hill, Henderson Co.,  TN.     

Children of ROMULUS SWIFT and SARAH PAINE are:

              i.     WILLIAM PAINE3 SWIFT, b. Abt. 1841, Henderson County, Tennessee; d. Bet. 1860 - 1864, Henderson County, Tennessee; m. EMMALINE ROGERS; b. Abt. 1845.

             ii.     JOHN WESLEY SWIFT, b. December 14, 1850; d. March 20, 1918, Henderson County, Tennessee; m. ELIZABETH "BETTY" HARRELL.

            iii.     FRANCES E. "FANNY" SWIFT, b. June 02, 1845; d. September 18, 1926; m. WILLIAM H. O'GUIN; b. June 07, 1842; d. December 09, 1883.

             iv.     THOMAS FLETCHER SWIFT, b. Abt. 1848; d. Abt. 1952; m. CYNTHIA E. AUSTIN; b. Abt. 1847; d. Abt. 1925.

              v.     GEORGE (W.) LEE SWIFT, b. June 20, 1850, Scotts Hill, TN; d. June 22, 1907, Scotts Hill, TN; m. DORA E. CULP; b. March 15, 1860; d. September 03, 1904, Scotts Hill, TN.
