Charlie W. Reed, Mortician, Dies
Lexington -- The owner and operator of Reed's Chapel Funeral Home, Charlie W. Reed, died Saturday morning while enroute to Memphis.
Mr. Reed was 63 years old and had only been ill a short time.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Monday at Reeds Chapel and burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery.
He was a lifelong resident of Henderson County, a mason, and a Shriner.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Frances Reed; one daughter, Mrs. Gayle Hall; his mother Mrs. Vertie
(Bertie) Reed; one sister, Mrs. Zula Mae Pafford, and one granddaughter Kim Hall, all of Lexington.
