Thomas J. Harvey Passes On - Wednesday, April 17, 1946 Mr. T. J. Harvey died suddenly Wednesday after having been in declining health for some time. He was 66. He was born in Savannah at the Dr. A. C. McDougal, or McDougal Hill place. The greater part of his life he lived in Hookers Bend. Funeral and burial will be at Oakland Church. A large family of sons and daughters honor and revere his memory. Mrs. Harvey and many others close kin and friends loved and honor him. Some of these are A. C. Harvey, Mrs. Toon Jowers, Mrs. Alton Barnett, Homer Harvey, Miss Mildred and Carmack, a brother, W. A. Harvey. He was fond of family ties, his friends and music and song. |
