We are James and Shirley Bishop and we live in the beautiful county of Kent, UK, known as The Garden of England.
We have been researching the histories of our families for about ten years now and have discovered that we have ancestors and relatives from all over the world. Shirley's family are from London, Kent, Surrey and Hampshire in England and James's family are from Armagh, Dublin and Cork in Ireland and we both have relatives in USA, Australia and Canada.
We belong to the following Societies and have found membership of them to have been most helpful and rewarding in helping us with our research. We have provided links to their websites which we hope you may find useful too.
