Day says this line of Hubbards have no descendants in the male line in the USA. This is possible, but I've not researched it. There are many documented descendants from the female offspring of Samuel Hubbard, most notably the lines of Crandall, Burdick, and Langworthy. Through my father's mother, I have ancestors in these three lines.

Old Ponsett Road is now called Little City Road, along which several Hubbards built their homes. Overlooking the road are the Hubbard Ledges, from which springs a small waterfall that drains into the Ponsett swamp in the valley. Several modern homes now occupy the former Hubbard homesites. A quarried stonewall runs along the east side of the road, but appears to be of the period of late 1800s or early 1900s. Interestingly a modern high school has been built very close to the site of the old school house. Despite the presence of a high school and several homes, the area is largely rural and very pretty.
A search of the U.S. Geological Survey, Geographic Names Information System, revealed that the name Hubbard Ledges is no longer used for this geological feature. The Geographic Names Information System is an excellent site for locating places where our ancestors lived. I use it often.
