    Lorana Tuttle, daughter of Lemmon and Filora Tuttle, wife of Riley Lemmon, was born at Pleasant Lake, Ind;, April 15, 1840, and died at her home in Otsego Twp, May 19 1899, aged 59 years and 27 days.
    She lived her life in the neighborhood of her birthplace, was known and loved by a large circle of friends.
    She was married to Riley Lemmon, Feb 20, 1862, and to the union were born nine children, three sons, Maurice, Montimer and Chaplin, and six daughters; Mrs. S. H. Fuller, Mrs. W. Uncapher, Mrs. J. G. Chadwick, Vira, Bessie and
Elsie, who, with the husband, mourn their loss.
    Mrs. Lemmon was a mother in all the name implies, and no sacrifice was too great for her and for her family and those she loved. Her memory will be sacred to many people.
    She is buried at Pleasant Lake [presumably, next to her husband].
