Hi, this is Darren Hurley here and at long last I can finally say that my Hurley family and ancestors are now represented in their own web pages on the World Wide Web!!
My Hurley ancestors originated in the small Irish town of Kinsale in County Cork, and it was good old g-g-g grandfather Michael Hurley who made the move to Bristol, England way back in the 1830's - we Hurleys have been in Bristol ever since!!

G-G GRANDFATHER John Hurley, born Bristol, England on May 16th 1845 - died Bristol, England on May 23rd 1913.
G GRANDFATHER John H Hurley, born Bristol, England on December 30th 1880 - died Bristol, England on December 24th 1934.
GRANDFATHER John H Hurley II, born Bristol, England on October 17th 1909 - died Bristol, England on April 21st 1988.
FATHER Colin M Hurley, born Bristol, England on December 24th 1943.
MYSELF Darren P Hurley, born Bristol, England on September 27th 1968.

The story began with the birth of Michael Hurley, (probably the second of three sons)in Kinsale, County Cork, circa 1806.
Michael's father was William Hurley (or Hurly), a butcher of the same town.
Michael's probable brothers were John Hurley (or Hurly) - born in Kinsale around 1804 (estimated) and Newman Hurley (or Hurly) born in Kinsale around 1808 (estimated).
