These pages are the result of my research into the people who make me who I am. There are no great riches or particularly scandalous stories - they are just everyday, working class, English people but very special people all the same to me.
A lot of thanks is owed to the wonderful people I have met, both online and off, who have so generously shared their research. Also, to those equally wonderful people who have transcribed records and made them available on the web.
My current 'brick wall' is:
William GREEN b. c. 1871 in St George in the East, London. On the 1881 Census he is living at 109 Eastfield Street, London. He married Louisa Martha SHARP on 11 May 1890 in Christ Church, St Marylebone and on 23 April 1895 my grandmother, Mary Ann Elizabeth GREEN, was born at 147 Cambridge Road, Kilburn. I can't find her on the 1901 Census although I know she was alive!
Finding the correct Greens in London is almost impossible. So any helpful pointers would be very gratefully received! I can be emailed by clicking on my name below.
