LIBAREIES
Morris Library
The Morris Library is one of the outstanding libraries in the area. You do not have to fool around with having change or getting change to make copies on the copy machines or the microfilm readers. They also have 3 microfilm readers available.
The Library has a lot of local/Grundy county books and information available. They also have a card file that is alphabetized for important events contained in the Morris Herald and a card file of burials in many cemeteries.
Yorkville Library
We would rate this library the lowest mark in the larger libraries in the area. Only one microfilm reader and you can not make copies. Nor do they not have a lot of information available for genealogy searches.
Oswego Library
Great resources for genealogy researches. They do have one microfilm reader/printer but is coin operated as well as the copy machine. They do have the newspaper from Yorkville.
Senaca Library
Some good research information in genealogy. They do have a coin operated microfilm reader/copier and copy machine. The library has the Ottawa paper on Microfilm. We rate the library fairly high.
Marseilles and Newark Libraries
We have never made it to these libraries due to there very limited hours but have heard they do not have a lot of material in genealogy area.
